The Marblehead Racial Justice Team (MRJT) is a community organization dedicated to dismantling racism in Marblehead and in the larger world. We aim to make Marblehead a more inclusive and welcoming town.
All of our programming is open to the public and geared to both increase interest in the work of racial justice and to build networks of resilience for people of color living, studying, working and visiting in Marblehead.

Here at the Marblehead Racial Justice Team, we are always looking to immerse ourselves in the community as it relates to strengthening our message by taking place in local events as well as establishing our own.
One of the main priorities of the Team is our Conversations on Race event, which we host at the Marblehead Museum on the fourth Monday of each month. These guided conversations center around different topics related to race and allow the community to learn from each other.
Past topics have included: Research and Interpretation of Lee Mansion & Slave Quarters, Climate Justice is Racial Justice, and Soundtrack of the Southern Freedom Movement.
